This website collects almost nothing.

banyen.io has no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and sets no cookies of its own. The live demo runs entirely in your browser on generated sample congregations — nothing you do in the demo is transmitted to us. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) to serve and secure the site, as virtually all web hosts do.

If you email us, we have your email.

The buttons on this site open an email to hello@banyen.io. If you write to us, we'll have your address and whatever you chose to tell us. We use it to reply and to follow up about Banyen. We don't sell it, rent it, or add it to third-party lists — ever. Ask us to delete our correspondence with you, and we will. Our email is provided by Google Workspace, which processes mail on our behalf.

Church giving data is governed by the Data Covenant.

When a church becomes a Banyen customer and shares real giving data, that relationship is governed by our Data Covenant — purpose limitation, no resale, church ownership, and deletion on request, stated in plain language. Today, the public site involves no real giving data at all: the demo is generated, and uploading real data is part of a paid plan.

Services we rely on.

Netlify (website hosting), Cloudflare (domain and DNS), and Google Workspace (email). Each processes only what's needed to do its job. As Banyen's product grows (for example, connecting a church's giving system with that church's permission), we will update this policy before any new kind of collection begins — not after.
